To implement the 2023 work program aiming to propagate and introduce Vietnam's commitments within the framework of the ASEAN Economic Community, free trade agreements (FTAs) within ASEAN and between ASEAN and its partners (FTA ASEAN+), to raise awareness for local state management agencies and supporting the business community to exploit and to take full advantage of business opportunities and economic benefits due to these agreements, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Multilateral Trade Policy Department) will chair the Workshop "Introducing the ASEAN Economic Community and free trade agreements within the ASEAN framework Vietnam participating in" with information as follows:
- Time: October 13-14, 2023.
- Location: Kim Do Hotel, 133 Nguyen Hue, District 1, City. Ho Chi Minh.
- Form: Hybrid
- Chair: Head of the Multilateral Trade Policy Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade.
- Expected participants: Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Departments of Industry and Trade of some localities, ASEAN Secretariat, representatives of Industry Associations and Businesses interested in the ASEAN market.
