The 11th RJC Meeting was held on 20 November 2025 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The Vietnamese delegation, led by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the Meeting. Discussions focused on reviewing the implementation of the RCEP Agreement, assessing RSU activities, exchanging utilization data, considering the accession process for interested economies, and agreeing on the upcoming work programme.

The 11th Meeting of the Joint Committee for the Implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement took place on 20 November 2025 in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to review the overall implementation of the Agreement. The Meeting was attended by representatives from ASEAN Member States and RCEP partners-Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and China-along with the RCEP Support Unit (RSU). The Vietnamese delegation was headed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, accompanied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the Meeting, RCEP Parties discussed a wide range of implementation matters, including the work of the RSU, data exchange on RCEP utilization, the workplan and timeline for the accession process of interested economies, the RCEP secure online platform, reports from the subsidiary bodies, and the broader RJC Work Programme 2026.
RCEP Participating Countries also noted that the coming year will be a critical period with several key tasks to be completed, particularly those related to the accession procedures for interested economies, preparations for the comprehensive review of the Agreement scheduled for 2027, and the groundwork for establishing the RCEP Secretariat.
