On December 18, 2019, the Ministry of Science and Technology issued Decision 3810/QD-BKHCN on the announcement of group 2 products and goods under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Science and Technology publishes a list of 11 types of group-2 products and goods under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology and management measures for corresponding imported goods.

Specifically, the above products and goods include: Gasoline, diesel fuel and biofuel; Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG); Helmets for motorcyclists and mopeds; Children's toys (about children's toy safety); Electrical and electronic equipment (electrical safety); Electrical and electronic equipment (electromagnetic compatibility); Steel for concrete reinforcement; Steel of all kinds; Lubricants for internal combustion engines; Lighting products with LED technology; Stainless Steel.

The above-mentioned goods, upon import, must pass the State inspection of quality after customs clearance based on the results of certification or assessment of a registered or recognized certification or inspection organization.

The Decision takes effect from the date of signing.
