This Circular provides for:
1. The list of potentially unsafe commodities under the management of the Ministry of Transport.
2. HS Code for the list of category 2 commodities.
This Circular applies to:
1. Domestic and foreign organizations and individuals related to production, business, design and construction of the category 2 commodities under the management of the Ministry of Transport.
2. Organizations and individuals related to management and assessment of the quality of category 2 commodities under the management of the Ministry of Transport.
List of potentially unsafe commodities under the management of the Ministry of Transport is prescribed by the Ministry of Transport in the Circular 41/2018/TT-BGTVT.
Some of the potentially unsafe commodities are road vehicles, such as: Bus (for the transport of 10 or more persons, including the driver); Passenger cars; Ambulances; Motorcycles (including those with side-cars); Mopeds; Electric bicycles; Motored bicycles…
Potentially unsafe rail transport vehicles are: Diesel-electric locomotives; Diesel-electric locomotives; Passenger coaches, not self-propelled; power generation coaches; other special purpose railway or tramway coaches, not self-propelled…
Besides, there are potentially unsafe parts, such as: Frames of motorcycles and mopeds; Rear-view mirrors of motorcycles and mopeds; Steel rims of motorcycles and mopeds; Batteries; Pneumatic tyres of motorcycles and mopeds…
This Circular takes effect on September 15, 2018.
